How You Know You're on Track to Complete the Course?
Planning Your Work Schedule for BEC 152

This table only represents a suggested pace for completing the work in the course.  This table assumes that you work at a constant pace throughout the entire semester: from the day all materials are first available to the day of the final exam.  It also assumes you want to spend 7 days reviewing for the final exam.  It also assumes you take one week off for the break, but that weekends are no different from weekdays.  Given these assumptions, the "Suggested Target Date" column tells you when you would need to be finished with each unit or test in order to maintain an even pace.  

Of course, if your situation differs, you need to adjust the schedule appropriately.  For example, if you plan to take a week-long vacation during the semester, you would need to adjust for that.  If you can only work on certain days of the week, you might need to adjust for that.  If you get sick during the semester and lose some time from your studies, you would need to re-adjust your remaining schedule.

SUGGESTIONS:

• Print this page and make your own plan, complete with target dates.  Review and revise your progress every week.
• Print this page and keep a written record of your points scored on each unit & assignment (keep as a backup to the Angel gradebook).
• The "Suggested Days to study each Unit" column helps give you an idea as to which units require are more difficult and require more work.
  

NOTE: The Dates in RED are fixed, hard deadlines.  You must have completed all work up to and including that unit by that date. Students who have not completed all work through Unit 12 by the deadline will be dropped and not permitted to take the final exam.
